According to statistics release by the Ministry of Finance, Japan’s exports of stainless steel flat products totaled 59,209 tons in last December, falling by 10.2% from a month ago while rising by 8.1% year on year.
In 2012, the country’s exports of stainless steel flats to Korea totaled 1.77626 million tons, decreasing by 5.9%; those to China were at 131,090 tons, falling by 24.3% and 114,625 tons were to Taiwan, rising by 9.6%, all compared to those in a year ago.
